Community-Wide Clean-Up — October 3

June 10, 20261 min read

A cleaner community starts with neighbors who care.

Pride Incorporated is inviting residents, families, local organizations, schools, churches, businesses, and civic groups to join us for our annual Community-Wide Clean-Up on Saturday, October 3, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM.

Volunteers will work together across Alton, Godfrey, and surrounding communities to pick up litter and help our neighborhoods look their best. Whether you participate on your own, bring the family, or organize a team, every bag collected makes a noticeable difference.

Why It Matters

Litter may seem like a small problem, but it has a visible impact on our neighborhoods, local property values, the environment, and the way visitors experience our community.

By giving just a few hours of your time, you can help make our area cleaner, more welcoming, and a place we are proud to call home.

Sign Up to Volunteer

Register yourself or your group using our volunteer form: https://prideincorporated.org/littercleanup

Participating groups will be recognized on the Pride Incorporated website and social media as Community Clean-Up Partners.

Let’s roll up our sleeves, bring a few friends, and make a visible difference—one block and one bag at a time.
